As with my other quiz, I am aware that this has been done before. However, the one I've already seen was ridiculously easy. Hopefully this will be more difficult, or at the very least more interesting. Just some random horse facts to chew on.

3.) What is the purpose of a standing martingale?
It is a device used to keep a horse standing still for a vet or farrier.
It doesn't have much actual use, it is mostly just used in hunter classes for looks.
It is used to keep a horse from lifting or tossing its head while being ridden.

6.) What is the purpose of a crouper (also spelled crupper)?
On a double bridle, it holds the two bits slightly apart.
It is fastened to the back of the saddle and around the horse's tail or hindquarters to keep the saddle from slipping forwards.
It is a strap tied on the saddlehorn and around the horse's upper jaw to prevent it from bucking.
