» Poem: Is there ever an end?
Is there ever an end?
written by piperneedshelp
04:57 AM 3/10/05
i see my friends walk down the hallway
i see them standing there, and talking
i walk up to see them, but the tone gets quiet
they look at me, like they know what happened
its not their fault, i know it isnt
but i have no one else to blame at the moment
so in my time of weakness,
all i can do is break down and cry

thoughts rush through my brain now
its too hard to think right now
after a while i think of somethings
but they arent the things i should be thinking
especially in my moment of weakness
but by the looks of my arms, wrists, and palms
you wouldnt think that this was my first moment of weakness
you'd know i have had many, almost too frequently

when you go through what i just had to
then you wouldnt blame me for what i'm doing
my friends, as loving as they are, cant replace the one that i lost
for a while i'll just deal, pretend like it doesnt bother me
but inside i'll know what i'm holding back
what i cant show them will ebb away at me
keep tearing me apart inside, until...

until i give in!
until i cant take it anymore!
until it all fights to get out at once!
what ever is worng with me isnt my fault this time
please, whoever's there, take it easy on me
i tried, i really did
but please, i didnt mean to do it this time

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
i wrote this really for a friend, there is no pattern that i can see. and if u stuck with it to the end, then i'm proud. see, a friend of mine's relative is going to die. it reminded me of another close person to my family who passed on a bit back. it still stings sometimes.....
