» Poem: Hold Me While I Crumble
Hold Me While I Crumble
written by fuzzypunkhat
04:18 AM 9/4/04
I lie there on the steps of hell and slowly fall apart,
You ran to me and held me until my body would depart,
You said my love this cannot be happening,
But anything can be happening anything can be,
My skin it started to turn black and crumble away,
Kissing my head and holding me in your arms I lay,
Speaking those beautiful but painful words that kept me there a bit longer,
Sadly those words did not help me get stronger,
My body could not move and my voice had died,
Hold me while I crumble, look into my eyes.
