» Poem: Independence
Independence
written by SuperBob

Watching the bird learning how to fly with their wings
I sat and thought of how to achieve solitude in many ways
But those time have long since faded away
And depression is something I can't keep at bay
Though I accomplished my goal of being all alone
I never knew I'd end up living without a home
But I know where my home is and who will reside with me there
It's a place where we can be as free as wild hare
So long I must wait to have that come true
So many days before I can be with you
Because I never knew that loneliness was so hard
It's not like how they advertised in the card
But I can cope with it and try to stick it out
Becasue with the help of you I won't have fight these bouts
