» Poem: Unwanted
Unwanted
written by gcgothichick

You fumble with your hair
and stutter with your words
sometimes you even act
like I'm not there.

As you speak these unrealistic lies
I wonder despite
the fact that you don't know wrong from right
if you even wanted me here tonight.

In my mind
I'm screaming for the truth
of which you seemed to have left behind
far away in a land
that no one ever will ever find
because you burned it your hand
and left it with your soul
so how can i trust a single
word that escapes your lips
that turned our lives
into a twist.

Maybe one day you'll see
the beauty of honesty
but for now i don't want
to think of you
because I'm lost in space
and I don't know what to do
all i know is that i don't want to see your face
around my place
any time soon
and never again
will i want to
be with you.
