» Poem: Broken Eyes
Broken Eyes
written by Panic
09:05 PM 4/19/05
Broken eyes filled with tears
Cold and darkness consuming
Your soul already fading
You turn your eyes heavenward
In hopes of finding answers
But the only thing the clouds gave
Were raindrops falling down

The tiny crystals fell
And stung your broken eyes
You tried to cry out in pain
But the fear just multiplied
Your soul is fading with your heart
You died so long ago
But your body still lives on

Nothing could console you now
You are missing and lost
In your broken tear filled eyes
Why does life cling to the miserable?
While death infects the content?
Forget the questions and the pain
Close your broken eyes and breathe no more
You died so long ago
