» Poem: When Life Gets Boring
When Life Gets Boring
written by TowelytheThing
10:31 PM 5/8/04
He arises to my visions,
Withdrawn,
Withdrew,
From all my moments with you.
I awake every morning to find nothig there.
I talk to you every day,
But it seems like you don't care.
When life gets boring,
I trace my fingers,
Across this picture.
The first day I met you...
Chewy Gum I called it.
From many months ago.
I miss you.
And when life gets boring,
I think of him as you.
You two are not the same.
One is him,
And you are you.
When life gets boring,
I walk around,
And see if I can find you.
When life gets boring,
I talk to our picture,
Chewy Gum.
Withdrawn,
Withdrew,
All I do,
When life gets boring,
Is think of you.
