GoodBye

You stand there so calmly, determindly gaze,
and you talk of the weather and events of the day.
But your eyes tell me, what your tongue doesn't say
I'm leaving my boy behind.

So come a little closer, put your hands upon my shoulder
And let me hold, your one arm tight
Before the whistle blows.
So her I am left, as you walk to the gate
And I move on, to the new life that awaits
But deep in my mind, I'm still there with you,
I'm leaving my love behind

My suitcase is lifted and stored on the train
And a thousand regrets, whirl around in my brain.
As I lean out the window to wave and to call
I see your first tears trickle and fall.
You're not fooling yourself and your not fooling me
I've got a new boyfriend, with a bigger willy..........
