» Poem: down and afraid
down and afraid
written by GeishaGirl
10:12 AM 4/14/05
I’ve been down for so long,
Yet I seem to soldier on.
For eternity I’ll forever love myself,
Give me a chance I’ll reclaim myself.

Give me your hand,
Help me when I’m down,
Give me your tissue,
Wipe away my years.

I’ve been afraid for so long,
Yet I seem to battle onward.
Never will you see me cower,
Give me a chance I’ll have everlasting courage.

Give me a kiss,
For luck,
Give me hug,
Show you care.
