Upon what night i see (comment)

How i sat in wonder
I stared into your eyes
To what would break you asunder
I wanted you to see me
To see i was really there
Not the one i pretend to be
To show you that i care
But you lay there
Sound asleep in the darkness
And looking deep into your soul
I seemed forever thoughtless
You've taken everything
That i once thought i knew
Turned it into something
That i hoped could be so true
I tell my self i love you
And i know that you still care
But you lay there so quiet
As nothingness fills the air
My love when you lie down
Know that i am there
I may not be in body
But my Spirt will always be near
As i sat there in the darkness
Watching you lie still
I felt something inside me reaching out
For my love is all to real
Ive never felt this way
So forgive me if i stumble
But though i feel your embrace
I also feel
I wonder
As i sit in this darkness
The longer i sit still
I feel something inside me growing
That i never thought i could feel |
