dark moon

so easy it falls past my lips
They get scared and don't know what to do
I don't want to move again
I don't want to say we're through
I can't change what i am i can't change what i do
every time the change comes
twice a month on a full moon
everyone i'm with meet their terrible doom
when the day fades and shows that dark full moon
but I hope we can make it through
I have three words I need to say
before you tear out my heart
and cast it simply away
"I love you"
and there's nothing you can do to change that
and that is the simple fact
maybe we can compromise
because when i look into your eyes
my world fades
just dissapears
I forget all of my past
and all of my fears
don't throw away the time we had
I don't want to see you sad
for it would block away the eyes
the eyes that calm me when i'm mad
the eyes that hypmotize
when i look upon your face all i feel is love
it covers me like the perfect glove
thank you for letting me stay
not throwing our love away
the wolf is me
as the wolf is you
at night we run on fours
at day only two
now i'm not alone
on that bright full moon |
