There is most defiantly a connection,
When I look at my reflection,
I’m not sure if I like what I see,
Lately I haven’t been seeing the true me,
The person that I once used to be,
The one that was happy and full of glee,
Where is she?
I look into his eyes,
And I see his soul,
I feel like I should never have to be alone,
I am so afraid to let my feelings be shown,
Even less let them grow.
There is such chemistry in air,
Life is so un-forgiving, un-forgetting, so unfair,
There is nothing I can even begin to compare,
All I can do is share.
Life may be full of heart breaks this is true,
But there is nothing you can do,
Except to be you,
Big, lean, mean, or trendsetter scene,
You can’t pretend to be something your not,
So listen to your instincts,
