Soothe The Pain.

Shrugging my shoulders
I look into your eyes
As they start to fill up with tears
I pull you into my arms
Holding you tight
Telling you everything will be alright
We both know its not true
But that has to be enough for now
Isnt my love enough to get you through?
I stare at the scars on your wrist
As i bring it to my mouth to kiss
The scars will remain
But for now i can soothe the pain
I wipe away your tears
Telling you not to cry
Even though i feel tears forming
I choke them all down
Faking a smile
Telling you I Love You
To let you know it's gonna be okay. |
