Ever Wonder

To just want to go and die?
What it feels like to drift asleep
And wonder if you'll wake up alive?
Ever wonder what people will say
If and when they see the scars on your arm
Ever wonder if one of them are serious
And they'll tell an elder that you self-harm?
Ever care that maybe what you're doing
Is not only self-harm to you but others?
Like all the friends that truly care
Maybe your sisters or your brothers?
You ever think that people do have it worse off
That you really aren't suffering alone?
Next time think of all the people that don't have what you have
The ones that don't have a place to call home |
