Now or Never

I'm learning things too late.
I'm still in love with you
but your eyes show only hate.
I've already used my second chance,
and I won't dare try for a third.
I'm on my knees apologizing,
it is for you I yearn..
I need you more than words can tell,
if only to spare your life I'd die for you.
Around your heart there's a barrier,
and I'm not yet strong enough to break through. |

| It's simple, but it's ok. I think you could step this poem up, put more thought and detail in it. The 'feeling' is there, but I think you could expand on it better. |
