» Poem: Suicide Imperfect
Suicide Imperfect
written by Mars_Phoenix

Suicide imperfect like a ghost stepping into the unknown,
White like this place knows no darkness,
A fresh canvas wiped clean to start again.
And you live behind the door to scared to walk through into whatever it holds for you.
Yet at night amongst the shadows and dreamwalkers you peak through a keyhole and feel.
You'll never have what it takes to turn the handle,
Stepping into deep waters that constrict and confound you.
Numbing fluid fills your lungs,
Your viens as clear as ice now I gaze right through you.
Eyes that tell me you want to look back - all that matters is this truth.
Look back through the closing window that held your life,
The more you struggle the more it passes you by,
Yet you reach out and snatch at cobwebs and dust.
And yet in this moment it seems so perfect,
We stand together and stare into the unknown,
Ready to open the door and make this dream our own,
Suicide imperfect.
