Where we were before

is where we are today
it's where well be tomorrow
and noone can take that away.
but one day, youll go
and i will be left
holding the strings
of our life together.
ill be left to comfort those you loved
and who loved you back.
but until then well live
the way we want to,
and i know that someday we will be parted
from each other.
but ill try to forgive them and you
for leaving me behind.
where we were before
is where we are today
