Life is perfect...not

or so you say
I do well in school
I am the rolemodel.
And rolemodels just don't screw up.
So I act so perfect
Like nothing is wrong
Like I am happy as a clam
Everything is great - family
friends, school, life...not
So I can't be me
I can't be real
I can't be what I want to.
Everyone looks at me and I
hate it becuase it is scary.
What if I screw up sometime
or show my actual colors?
How I want to be punk, how I
just want to live and feel alive
and feel like I am me.
But I couldn't ever do that
Cause that would mean I'd failed.
That a rolemodel had finally screwed up.
And I can't do that because then everyone
would stare some more.
So yeah - my life is perfect,
if perfect is pressure, grades, preps,
being what everyone else expects.
Grand, oh great, life is perfect
If this is as perfect as life gets. |

| u rock......... be wat u wanna be.... if ppl stare at u more like ur a big freak fuck them all!!!!! be who u want..... trust me i am like u i have the same problem as u........ im really pretty ((not easy being pretty)), i got good grades, i am everything a person wants to be. but im really not like that...... i give u props 4 ur poem.
