» Poem: Life's Fairness
Life's Fairness
written by nicole_lyndon
08:30 AM 3/1/05
I promised you everything
I would've given you the world
If you only had let me.
You cut me short, taking away my chance
To show you who I was,
To show you how I could love.
Now I hate seeing you every day,
And I hate hearing your voice.
I sometimes ask myself what I did wrong.
How I pushed you away that much,
Little things I took for granted,
And things I should've said or done.
I guess that's normal.
I've accepted life's changes,
Things are the way they are.
It will come to a point, very soon,
Where I will go a seperate way,
And say goodbye to you.
