» Poem: Lost
Lost

Mindless Zombies rule my school
no one rescues me
my friends talk about me
aware of my existence
The lion of the jungle
roars above me
I run in my room and hide.
The reflection I stare at
shatters into pieces
and I am left alone.
The people colse to me go away
but the lion still roars.
My room is my only shelter
when I'm all alone
my safety
my crutch
my willing to stay alive.
A light I witness
shines from an open door.
I go to it eager.
A deer and her foe
lay cuddling on the grass.
I hide in their nesting
safe from the present harm.
I greive at night
in the morning dissappear
but though my future may lay dark
I know I can find happiness from my heart.
