The power you have

that at first I failed to see
but now I understand
all that has made me mad
I cannot stand up to you
I realize this and other things too
the discord I feel, all the hate
its there because you always debate
my life without consulting me
it causes me anguish and misery
the fact that I have no control
it tears at my very soul
the only decision Ive ever made
death, death with no delay
how many times I have tried
just to stop and then to cry
you told me once that you hated the weak
does this mean that you hate me
maybe subconsciously or in your soul
you do, you hate me, you just dont know
you werent happy with any of us
that is why you screamed and cussed
you threw some punches too
though I have only caught a few
I know you dont really care
how I live, how I fare
you just want to keep me here
to lie to you when pain is near
all Ive ever told you was lies
even when I looked you dead in the eyes
all the times I said I love you
those were lies too
all Ive ever felt was hate
and even now it wont abate |
