Dark Reality

like a rose and its thorns
love it once
and feel its scorn
love is harsh
though bittersweet
let it engulf you
and feel its defeat
death is cold
and brutally fought
but who can say
its as bad as we thought
life is meaningless
there is only death and pain
what happens when its over
there is nothing to gain
greed devours this world
but it adds up to nothing
is others wealth reason
for mankind's suffering
hope is a lie, completely false
we have hope to ease grief
but for those without it
life is empty and brief |
