Contemplation- My Song

What’s been and gone
Unfulfilled expectations
Where did it all go so wrong?
There’s a big wide world out there
I’m lost inside my head
Power, politics money I just don’t care
Trying to forget the things I’ve said
Drink myself to sleep
Forget the pain
Acceptance, love that’s what I seek
Everyone wants the same
Chorus
Fuck it, I got no regrets
I’ll find what I need, ill be complete
No more lies, deceit
It’s just one big empty threat!
Forget the lies I’ve told
The drugs and drink
Time for my new fold
No time to blink
I’ll have my way
I walk around
The worlds mine to play
I won’t stop till what I needs found! |
