Black as the Nights Rain

I don’t know where I’m going. . .I don’t know if I can.
Two people, one to choose
I don’t know what to do.
The tears I cry at night are black as the nights rain
My emotions are the only thing I cannot tame
I’m the only one to blame
Sit in the darkness I do
I sit and I write these poems about you
You and me. . .
What has come to be?
Leaving marks as life passes on
Staying up, crying at dawn
Another day, wasted
No food has been tasted
Tensions runs high
All I can say is, “Goodbye”.

Sit in the darkness I do
I sit here and I write these poems about you
You and me. . .
What has come to be?
Nothing or something?
Each day you puzzle me
Each day we are slowly dieing
We don’t grow anymore
No more offers at this white door
Turn to the black one and take your chance
Maybe it is the time to advance
See the negative side of me
I’m not what I seem
