Tidal Waves

the only thing I want is the courage to let go
the anger to push the blade deeper than ever before
to see the tidal waves of blood crash to the floor
I wish I could jump off the balconey
every time sorrow overcomes me
I wish the noose would slip
and kill me quick
but Im afraid to end my life
afraid of what I will find on the other side
Im afraid that I will want to come back
and that the judges will give me no slack
but most of all, Im afraid
that my memory will fade
Im afraid that my friends would be so mad
that they wont remember why I was sad
that they wouldnt tell me mom why I died
that it was her fault that I took my life |
