» Poem: Break The Glass
Break The Glass
written by Morbid Angel

So we got to the stage where I was crying on the floor, trapped inside a dark room with only mirrors and a door. Hey wait. I think I just figured out my escape. But before I'll leave I'll pay with broken glass my every mistake. And so what if it shatters into my wrist. I'm just a dot on this world, I guess I wouldn't be missed. Maybe I would but not my you. Not a chance of that now you've broken through. I'm going through this cirlce of hatred again, the circle of life, the circle of pain? The circle of everything is broke as glass splinters beneath my hands. The image of your heart breaking slowly down. Cracking. Twisting metal grinding under fingers. Need to get out of you, the scent of you lingers. With one last hit I'll smash your face. Erase the memories from your brain. Blood everywhere and I'll leave your life in bits. Leaving only broken glass a note that goes like this: "This is for everything. Everything and nothing."

i'm crying, no, seriously, i'm crying, i never cry. There's so much sadness, I thought I was fucked up, but, man that's sad.
