I thought you cared

I thought you would understand, after what you've been through.
But none of that mattered you only cared about yourself.
Now im stuck with a shatterd world, cause I loved you and no one else.
Why did you say those things you said?
Why are you makin me feel like im dead?
You took the life and drained it right from me.
I thought you were stable, but you came out from under me.
Now I know life is just too much to bare.
Now I know you never really cared. |

Some of this poem sounds a lot like others in the portal, but this line alone makes it stand out from the crowd. Unlike most people on here, none of your poems are dull and boring. They bring a new light to the way I can use my words. Your poems (or certain parts of them) are helping me become a better poet. Thank you. Please continue to write with such eloquence and feelings. |
