listen to the fall of my tears

Its crystal clear tears
they gently hit the roof
pour on to our own little world
Its ok we can’t get hurt
We are in our secret hiding place
Listen as the birds Play outside.
Listen to the sound they make
Even in the rain they bring joy
They lighten a world full of hate.
Lie in our bed of love
Till I have warmed your cold heart
you are at my side now
I’m just what you need
I will make it all right again
I promise. On my love for you
Lay here with me for eternity
Stay here with me and let me make
Everything all right again
Let me take back my spiteful words
Replace them with my love
I know you are tempted to go
Please stay in our secret hiding place
I won’t ask again but please try
And remember the good times we had
remember how I made you laugh
Even thought I didn’t know how
The light that filtered into my heart
Was caused by you and only you
You brighten up my life with your smile
You saved me when I thought
I was doomed to walk this world
Alone for eternity.
You caught me when I fell
From heaven and landed in hell.
You gathered the broken parts of my heart
And you put them back together.
You let me flower into what I am now.
Im still here because of you. |
