» Poem: Anxiety
Anxiety
written by KaoticKitty87

I sit in the back
away from the world
I watch people laugh
see how they dance and twirl
I hear people whisper
I feel my face blush
why am I so shy?
why am I flushed?
I keep to myself
I rarely talk
my heart melts
when I see your eyes stop
I cover my face
look to the ground
I say "I just need my space"
and start to frown
I walk away quickly
hardly able to breathe
I walk away quickly
to hide my anxiety
