» Poem: Another day
Another day
written by IceBound
03:42 PM 11/9/04
signed, sealed, deliver
regreting everyday what i give her
a world of pain, hurt, and hate
how was i to know it would become my fate?
a smiling face, i can't relate
from all feelings felt, a drifting state
of conscienceness, where's the clean slate?
something always there, looking through the gate
to the other side
experience our worlds collide
in trying to bide
my time, i am on the other side
outside looking in
knowing the reflection, an evil twin
thoughts to words, thoughts within
trying to hide my pain
trying to get by
just letting another day begin
