fake

she lies awake
sleep doesnt bless her
and tears of pain flood her
in the morning
she will rise
to put on her make up
cover her eyes
cover the pain that fills her face
and in the morning
she will go again
to face her fears
with the fake smile
deceiving so many eyes
and another day goes by
no-one will see
just like before
just like everytime,
no-one will save her
from this pain |
