» Poem: Memento
Memento
written by Mars_Phoenix

Shadows might fall
But you know i'll hold still
And fight this.
At least the memory of the ghost,
That together with you,
Burned my eyes.

You know I won't forget you,
Even if you leave me dead and buried,
I'll write something for you,
A token,
Or just a memento,
Sent to remind you,
That'll I'm still forced to pay for everyday
That you took away.

Do you see me standing?
I've been waiting for so long,
In this tomb writing poems meant for no one
And now i know that everyone was meant for you.
But now i've found my inspiration
So i'll take my pad and within
I'll write and hide every word
Till the day you find me locked away,
Inside one girls heart is where i'll stay.
