Bleeding

Drowning in my tears
I pray for you to hold my hand
But all alone I stand
You can see the sadness in my eyes
Give me the truth, no more lies
Warm my body next to yours
Why do you close your doors
Your voice trapped in my head
Your face painted on my eyes
You listened to what I said
One says I love you til they die
I wanted you to be near me
But now it's all very clear
You led me on and I followed
My eyes once bright now are hollowed
You breathed out my soul
I painted your picture with my bleeding heart
Now in my life is another hole
I'm back at the start
