Where Pain comes from

That nothing can hurt you
Wrapped up in your blankets
Teddys hugging your bed
Soft pastel colours all around
Your face soften with happiness
Your heart full of glee
Your world perfect as can be
But underneath your bed is dark
It's pitch black
Two glowing eyes can be seen
Their monstrous
They take away everything life should be
And Change it into everything you wouldn't want it to be
You wake up
The sky looks gray
It's raining
And all of a sudden you feel so dreary and sad
Unknown memories flying threw your head
Everything turning dead
Your body feels so painful
Tears flowing down your face
At a amazing pace
Soaking into the floor
Your room changing
Wilted flowers in your vases
Broken teddys on your bed
Pictures on your walls look depressing
Your carpet feels like it's made out of spikes
Broken mirrors all around
You don't understand
As you turn and see your reflection
Your hair looks sad and tired
Your eyes dark and lined
A frown upon your face
And Red puffy eyes
Your world is now shattered and black
Full of misery and lies
Broken dreams and promises
Your other world just seems like a myth
Everyday just sitting there and doing nothing
You scream
This has to be a dream
But it isn't
Look around this is your world
Your world that was created
By your own hidden pain. |
