» Poem: Fear the Candles
Fear the Candles
written by Lovely_Suicide
06:34 AM 9/15/04
Candles are my light
They rid me of my fear of the night
They can help me fight
The fear that i feel inside.

Candles sway so gently
Telling me so differently
That i should listen intently
To the flickering of the flames.

Candles whispering to me
I rest on my knee
Making a plea
To be able to hear what they mean.

Candles flickering dangerously
Beckoning to be heard
My fear begins to return
These candles are not normal

Candles making shadows on my walls
I can hear their calls
I try to turn away
But i can't their've surround me with a circle of fire

Candles trapping me
I count to three
And try to flee
But instead i burn my knee

Candles burning
Candles Whispering
Candles frightening
Candles scaring me as much a lightning

My eyes clear
My visioin focuses
I glance around and see im in my room
But i know that now candles will never be the same.
