» Poem: In Madness You Dwell
In Madness You Dwell
written by Mars_Phoenix
02:31 PM 9/11/04
Winter blooms and with it I breed,
As the damp and frost consume,
With it I feed.

They've condemned and imprisoned me,
So to you I plead,
A soul like yours is what I need.

On the fringe of morality you'll find me,
In the deepest cell of nights dark keep.
And if you have courage, then set me free,
For in your blood and bone I shall reap.

I am the shadow you personify in rhyme,
I am the death that shall claim you in time,
I am the cry in the abyss of your mind,
I am the madness, if you look you will find.
