» Poem: Finish Line
Finish Line
written by SuperBob

Just tell me where I'm headed, show me that I'm safe...I'm barely getting by in this never ending race...
From day to day I try to win...but sometimes I never know where I should begin...
To say that I have lost my way, is an understatement I just can't explain....
I'm traveling far without a map...so through my forest of lies my emotions attack...
Differnt ways I have gone on about my days, wondering and hoping that somehow I will be shown the right way...but through it all I never knew what would happen...somehow it all became a means to and end...and look at me now....Look at what I have become...I've lost the skills I needed most and rely on a someone who could turn out to be a hoax...
Yet even with all this new despair...something out there keeps pulling on my hair....
It wants to show me where I belong...I'll gladly go if it would just hold on...first I have some tasks to complete...some new found adventures and one finish line to meet...
I want to end this race that depression has begun...and when I do that I will have truly won

*Slowly starts to clap* I love it.. *looks to all the other poets with an evil stare. *Applauds begin* See? everyone loves it. =) Now...Read that carefully...Now...Do I look like a God compared to you? Not to me.
