» Poem: Darkened Cries
Darkened Cries
written by SuperBob
08:31 PM 8/5/04
In the night before you sleep,
I can still see it in your eyes; all the times that caused you to weep.
All those times I wish I could have been there,
when you needed someone to listen and to hear.
Your cries I wouldn't have let pass by my ears,
I would have gladly dried away each one of your tears.
But now all I can hope to do,
is a simple task because still I will be true;
For no matter what comes our ways, I will always love you.
