» Poem: The Underway
The Underway
written by cryptic_misery
12:38 AM 8/4/04
My tears are cold and I don't know why
Before they hit the ground they freeze, and I,
I feel that thing beneath the surface of my skin,
That thing that's pulling and it screams within..
Within the formula between the devil and me
the voices in my head that seem to fight me
It's like things like dislike, but more like hate
Like the guy on the corner that's now met his fate
And your anger hurts my hands
I'm not strong beneath the stands
What's all inside is there to stay
Right on over the underway...
