» Poem: Do You Remember?
Do You Remember?
written by twistedmind33

Do you remember
Lying on my kitchen floor
Talking about
Everything and nothing in particular
Do you remember
Laughing at inappropriate jokes
We weren’t supposed to get
Do you remember
Laughing so hard it hurt
When my mother mentioned a roll of quarters
Do you remember
Promising me
You’d always be here for me
Do you remember
Me being naïve
And actually believing you
Do you remember
Any fights we’ve had
Over stupid things
No.
Because this is the first
Tomorrow things may be different
We could be best friends again
But for now
I’m renouncing the title best friend
And finding someone new to depend on

it is a really good poem and it's cool you have the inside joke or w/e about the quarters slipped in there and you really should show it to the person who it'/s about or put in their locker or w/e even anonamously (can't spell it) because with how this poem iz they'll know for sure who it's from
