All in my mind

day is here
I go to sleep
and take in the much needed rest
and then it begins
my nightmare begins
everyday it's a little different
but deep down I know it's still the same
the meaning
the feelings
waking up with your heart racing
surrounded in darkness
realizing the fear, knowing you're afraid
what created this forever damning dream
every day when i sleep
the horrors of my mind begin to creep
and the thoughts and images are pulled up from deep inside
deep within my mind
horrors of the past and present haunting me
chasing me
every time when I begin to dream
I end up finding my horrific fear
but what is it that I fear
what created this fear
I'm afraid of me, and I'm the one who created this fear
for it's all in my mind...
