» Poem: A Wound In The Skin
A Wound In The Skin
written by Morbid Angel
08:58 PM 12/3/04
A wound in the skin does not let anybody in, but one look into someones eyes gives a look deep within. You can tell so much from a smile or the dimples in someones cheeks, you can tell so much from a tear and it tells you if they are weak. A heart wide open to hate can be hurt so much more, someone hiding in the shadows can't be hurt at all. A pair of hands can tell the secrets of memories passed by, however tight those arms hold you can tell the secrets of a mind.
