but you chose death instead of me
you wanted him when i was there
but to take a life he wouldnt dare
you lead me into the deadly night
and i knew then it was so right
i am deadly and i love what i am
but its all different for little bro, stefan
i feed off humans and have power
but hes an animal and still a coward
i laugh at him feeding but still a weakling
and i shame to know im still a part of him
as i love and glory in the night
hes still running to the light
and with every life i have taken
comes all the powers i have awoken
and then i watch him as he gets to you
but against me theres nothing he can do
this time your strong, aburning fire
and we could rule in the shadows together
why you choose him i dont understand
but i know now you'll never take my hand |
